Welcome to San Diego Hiker.
My name is Marc Arndt. I’m a native of San Diego, but I’ve lived in other cities and states as well. I’ve been hiking on and off my whole life, and in the local hills and mountains since the mid-80s.
San Diego Hiker is here to inform and educate locals and visitors on places to hike, and what you might see while hiking. I wanted to take a different approach, and hopefully inform on more than just where to hike. So you’ll see entries on different plants, maybe animals, and a little local history as well.
